One Month of Chess Tournament Training

Tournament Training is a great next step for students who are near the top of their school club and want more of a challenge, or for any students that really want to work hard at improving their game. These classes meet for two hours per week, year-round. Each week, the participants play a rated tournament game with a clock which they write down (notate). After the games, the students analyze their games as a group with a highly rated coach. A number of state and national champions have gotten their starts in these classes.
